Overview
:
Caraibi, 1700. La figlia del governatore viene rapita dal malvagio pirata Barbossa. Rilancio del sottogenere piratesco? Presto per dirlo, ma indubbiamente La maledizione della prima luna - maggior successo dell'estate statunitense - vale la visita. Nonostante la produzione targata Bruckheimer facesse temere il peggio, il regista Verbinski padroneggia la materia con sufficiente energia e ironia, non risparmiandosi citazioni e ammicchi al passato ma non perdendo mai di vista lo svolgersi del racconto. Le due ore e venti scorrono con una certa facilità, anche grazie a una compagnia d'attori - Depp su tutti - che fa di una divertita gigioneria un manifesto programmatico. E qualche sequenza ben girata - vedi quella dell'arrembaggio - fa il resto. Non memorabile, ma per divertirsi va più che bene.
